Coronavirus (Covid-19) has already had a major economic impact around the World and now in the UK. With the Government announcing various strategies to combat the Pandemic this will continue to effect businesses throughout the forthcoming months.
A number of measures have already been published including a £330bn package of support in the form of loans, business rate holidays and grants. The Bank of England has also reduced the interest rate from 0.75% to 0.1%.
Every business should have measures in place to protect their employees in these uncertain times but there also needs to be an effective business continuity plan in place in order to survive through this period of economic instability.
As you would expect, the safety and wellbeing of our staff and clients is our top priority with this in mind we will be encouraging all of our employees to work from home, you will be able to contact all members of the team in the usual ways.
This will enable us to achieve the social distancing that the health authorities believe is so critical to slowing down the spread of Coronavirus (Covid-19), whilst still ensuring that we are providing business as usual as far as possible.
