We completed the Walk the Test Way
During 2022, we have decided to support the brilliant Honeypot as our charity of the year. As part of commitment to raise funds and awareness, some of the team took part in the Walk the Test Way event held yesterday.
Since 1996, Honeypot have been working to enhance the lives of young carers aged 5-12 years. They provide respite breaks and on-going support. In the UK nationwide, they give young carers a break from demanding and stressful responsibilities at home. They also provide a safe and nurturing environment where children at risk can develop their full potential.
The Rotary Club of Romsey organise the event, with lots of groups and charities taking part. Since its launch in 2003, they have raised over £1m for charities.
Sean, Zoe, Karen, Dan, Rhian, Tom and Sandra all took part in the Walk the Test Way event. In aid of Honeypot they had a target of £500 to raise which they have already smashed. They would now like to achieve £1,000, which would pay for two children to take part in a respite break. If you would like to help by sponsoring us, we have set up a page on JustGiving.
